80 Collins Street in Melbourne is the latest flagship building to use Capstone Microturbines to supply secure, low cost, and low emissions power.
I’m delighted to announce that Optimal Group has been awarded the contract for the 36-level office tower, which is currently under construction. We will be using two Capstone C200 Signature Series Microturbines to provide combined cooling, heating and power (CCHP) to the building. The project is now the ninth office tower in Melbourne’s prestigious Collins Street development to utilise Capstone Microturbines to power its CCHP system.
These systems have efficiency at their core by utilising waste heat energy created during power generation for heating and cooling the building. For our customers, the system is central to securing low cost energy and exceeding NABERS 5 Star energy ratings.
