Biogas produced from digesters, landfills, and wastewater plants requires compression to meet the pressure and quality standards for power generation or upgrading and injection into energy networks.

Adicomp’s BVG and UVG compressor series have been specifically designed for biogas applications. Their primary role is to increase the inlet gas pressure while simultaneously improving gas quality, ensuring a more efficient and reliable process. These compressors feature advanced control systems that manage operating pressure upstream or downstream and automatically adjust compressor speed to match biogas availability and demand.

Adicomp compressors are available in air-cooled or water-cooled configurations, providing flexibility for different installation environments. Up to 75% of the heat generated by these compressors can be recovered and reused to supply hot water for various utilities, reducing overall energy costs. Each unit is equipped with an integrated gas treatment system to ensure the required gas quality for upgrading and injection. Furthermore, every compressor system can be customised to meet specific customer requirements, including variations in gas composition and environmental conditions.
